Jami Cooper, PT, DPT is passionate about providing superior care to the residents of Lufkin and the surrounding areas. She has worked in outpatient physical therapy clinics seeing a wide variety of patients since graduating from UTMB in Galveston with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She quickly took an interest in pelvic floor rehabilitation and has taken extensive post-doctoral training in this area to provide care to those struggling with various conditions including pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, constipation, back pain, pelvic organ prolapse, increased urinary urgency/frequency, and so much more. She also is passionate about providing support during pregnancy and postpartum and works with every aspect of this population, including labor and birth preparation. Jami graduated from Huntington High School and earned her Bachelors from Stephen F. Austin State University prior to attending UTMB for her DPT. She currently lives in Zavalla with her husband, son, and daughter and enjoys spending quality time with her family.
